Afaf Steiert is President and co-founder of Afaf Translations and oversees all medical and pharmaceutical industry related translation projects. She is also active as a conference Arabic interpreter. She speaks 5 languages and has excellent knowledge of all Arabic dialects. Afaf obtained a MSc in plant molecular biology from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
Matthias Steiert, co-founder of Afaf Translations, oversees the life-sciences and engineering translation projects. He has many years of industry experience and holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
Yasin Steiert has been with Afaf Translations since 2009. He currently studies International Relations at the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and is in charge of Afaf Translations‘ Middle East office.
Zoe Laventhol is a student at Boston University, and is currently pursuing a major in International Relations and a minor in Arabic. She enjoys learning languages and has also studied Spanish, Japanese, and Turkish.
